On November 17 EURIX will speak at the AIDI 2020 National Congress, which will be held virtually, in the session “Urban lighting: the relationship with the city and its territory in the era of Smart Cities“
During the intervention, the results of the ELF, energy efficiency research project, will be illustrated; EURIX is a project partner together with Ardea Energia Srl and Environment Park SpA.
ELF, which stands for “Improving Efficiency of street Lighting through Intelligent Dimming and Radio-Frequency data-connection”, has developed an innovative infrastructure for adaptive lighting control according to traffic, weather conditions and luminance.
CSP Scarl, Comune di Savigliano, Axis Communicactions Srl, Gestart Srl, the Department of Energy of Politecnico di Torino and Schreder Italia SpA collaborated to the project.
The AIDI Congress aims to deepen the relationship between light and new technologies, which allow to design a more effective, flexible, dynamic, energy efficient and high quality lighting. Aspects related to technological innovation and those related to its important impact on the lighting sector will be explored, with particular attention to social and environmental sustainability.
