Thanks to the first place won in the RSE call on collective self-consumption in Energy Communities, the EURIX project has been selected and illustrated in the Legambiente 2020 Report on Renewable Communities.

The objective of the project, called “Condomini Torino”, is to produce renewable energy, resulting from the installation of a photovoltaic system on the roof of an apartment building in the center of Turin, to ensure distributed generation, as collective self-consumption, thus forming an Energy Community.

This is made possible by the introduction of highly innovative technologies, which EURIX offers as part of its EOS³ ENERGY MARKET solution. This is a set of products for the management and optimization of energy-financial transactions among prosumers in Energy Communities.

In particular, Machine Learning algorithms are adopted to increase energy efficiency. Moreover, Blockchain Ethereum and Smart Contracts are used for transaction reporting.

A further target of the project is to replicate this proposal of self-consumption communities also in other residential complexes and apartment buildings, in order to achieve significant energy savings and contribute to reducing pollution in cities.

This initiative proves EURIX‘s sensitivity and attention to environmental protection.
