EURIX has won the research project “H2@Edge – Hydrogen supporting telecommunications in critical energy conditions”.
The project represents a significant step towards the adoption of advanced technologies aimed at energy saving and greater sustainability of energy backup infrastructures for telecommunications systems in mountainous environments or decentralized areas, significantly increasing operational efficiency in the supply chain.
H2@Edge aims to design a green hydrogen generation system which, through compression and storage, will enable autonomous and transportable production units capable of supplying electricity to remote users.
Green hydrogen is a clean energy carrier whose production does not generate greenhouse gas emissions, making it a valuable solution for the energy transition.
It is therefore at the heart of efforts to decarbonise and reduce environmental impact.
EURIX‘s contribution focuses on the automation of processes related to the production, storage and use of green hydrogen, focusing on effective technological integration and advanced big data analysis.
We offer cutting-edge solutions in the field of System Integration and Control Systems.
The project partners are: TOP-IX, EURIX, Tecnodelta, TRC, Chemistry Dep. – University of Turin, DENERG – Politecnico di Torino.
H2@Edge started in December 2025 and has a runtime of thirty months.
