EURIX passes CITY4ALL Mid-Term Review

  • by

EURIX successfully passed the Mid-Term Review of CITY4ALL, a research project – selected as part of the EU’s TrialsNet Project initiative – that aims to create a VR game designed to foster students‘ and educators’ awareness of diversity and inclusion issues.

The project explores the integration of advanced 5G network capabilities with AI and VR technologies, contributing to scientific understanding in immersive systems and real-time communication.

The deployment of VR systems using 5G connectivity aligns with TrialsNet’s focus on showcasing the potential of smart networks beyond 5G.

The results of the experimentation of the CITY4ALL platform carried out at the Wind Tre laboratory were presented.

The second part of the project will focus on the completion of the development of experiences related to visual and hearing disabilities. Trials in schools will be carried out in March.

The project partners are: EURIX, Wind Tre Italia, CPD-Consulta per le Persone in Difficoltà.

The CITY4ALL started in May 2024 and has a runtime of one year.

The CITY4ALL project has been co-funding from the European Union’s Horizon-JU-SNS-2022 research and innovation action program.
