  • by

EURIX has been awarded the Horizon 2020 research project MIRROR, which stands for “MIgration-Related Risks caused by Misconceptions of Opportunities and Requirements”.

Horizon 2020 is the framework programme of the European Commission for Research and Innovation.

The aim of the project is to highlight the discrepancies between “perception and reality” in order to make European organisations and institutions more aware of the effects and threats that such misconceptions may cause.

MIRROR project ambitious goal is to implement a Data Streaming & Analytics platform, to be developed with DevOps approach, to identify the discrepancies between “perception and reality” and to detect instances of media manipulation in order to better understand how Europe is perceived outside its borders.

MIRROR will combine methods of automated analysis of texts, multimedia and social networks with empirical studies to create a substantial picture of the perception of Europe and to connect evidence and facts from different sources.

Any further information is available on the website: h2020mirror.eu.

The MIRROR project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation action program under grant agreement № 832921.
