In November the HUB was presented, the result of collaboration between Politecnico di Torino and EURIX, for the collection and monitoring of plant data of the Energy Center (EC).
EURIX‘s intervention included the supply of its own products EOS³ – Energy Operating Saving Cube, for the optimization of the operation of HVAC systems through intelligent automatic control and smart remote management.
The HUB has already collected almost 15 million useful data from the EC structure.
The Energy Center is a multifunctional infrastructure dedicated to research and technology transfer activities, strongly oriented towards the industrial research process. The complex, through discussion and comparison on the future of energy, aims to target the distribution of qualified services for companies and the creation of networks able to develop and test innovative technologies and solutions in the energy-environmental field.
The Center has an Advisory Board attended by the main national and international players in the energy sector, public administrations, research institutions and world-renowned personalities in the field of energy.
EURIX has assigned its Energy Center offices to the “Energy Efficiency” Business Unit.
The team deals with the project, installation, commissioning and monitoring of energy automation systems, identfying the Internet of Things as a support for energy efficiency.
